The incumbent will assist with all aspects of Road Safety Audits from setting up the organizing the meetings, providing the analysis, facilitating the meeting and reviewing the accompanying report. This will also include communicating with consultants, local, regional, State and Federal personnel. The person will need familiarity with the Highway Safety Manual for countermeasure selection, evaluation and prioritization of recommendations and projects. The incumbent will need to conduct field work related to highway safety, speed zoning and other Traffic/Safety needs. Furthermore, the person in this position assists with all aspects of crash data analysis including geocoding crashes, pulling/redacting crashes, summarizing data and compiling/mapping results.
