About The Position

To perform all manners of road maintenance and repair work within Peoria County.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Must obtain an "X" endorsement within 6 months of employment
• Must obtain Pesticide License from the Illinois Agriculture Department within one year of hire.
• Have passed a pre-employment physical prior to employment.
• Be subject to and pass a random drug and alcohol test upon request.
• Ability to operate various types of equipment as needed (small equipment, trucks, snow plows, etc.).
• Ability to maneuver tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of roads and Right-of-Ways.
