About The Position

Creighton Manning is seeking a qualified Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join their Highway Design Group. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure required.
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar engineering role required.
  • Proficiency with Microstation, Inroads, and AutoTurn.
  • Working knowledge of the NYSDOT Highway Design Manual.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work in part of a major project.
  • Conduct work requiring judgment and independent evaluation.
  • Apply standard technology and procedures in engineering tasks.
  • Conduct analysis and choose appropriate applications for projects.
  • Complete intermediate and limited complex engineering assignments.
  • Perform cost and quantity estimating for projects.
  • Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.
  • Responsible for report writing for basic and some intermediate projects.
  • Act as project engineer for basic projects, managing staffing, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain client relations for routine basic projects.
  • Provide delegation and supervision of Engineer III's and Technicians.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline projects at an intermediate level.
