What You’ll Do as a Highway Project Manager Lead the planning, design, and delivery of highway transportation projects from scoping through final design and construction support. Manage scope, schedule, budget, and staffing to ensure successful project execution. Lead design strategy in collaboration with teams and clients to ensure alignment and seamless delivery. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and quality standards. Manage risk proactively and maintain strong financial performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders Cultivate and strengthen client relationships to support successful project outcomes and repeat business. Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout. Support proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimates for new and existing clients. Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
