Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master's preferred
- 5-10 years of transportation experience Highway Design Engineering experience preferred
- EIT required

Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
- Proficiency in MicroStation, STAAD, OpenRoads, and Bridge Design Software preferred.
- Familiarity with state DOT design standards (NYSDOT or PennDOT preferred)
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage highway design projects, including drainage, alignments, and related tasks.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive design plans, detailed specifications, technical reports, and accurate cost estimates.
- Ensure designs adhere to state and local standards, regulations and safety codes.
- Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, subconsultants and agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Proactively support project managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations.
- Assist with field inspections and data collection for roadway projects.
