Position summary: Responsible for engineering design by applying general engineering principles and practices to interpret project requirements, organize tasks, and execute and coordinate assignments effectively. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Responsibilities
- Perform alternative studies to evaluate project options
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data for project planning
- Perform design calculations and engineering analyses
- Support project design using CAD and other design software, following client specifications and guidelines
- Assist in preparing construction cost estimates
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertising and construction
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
