This is a seasonal position with an expected start date in mid-April. DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible, motivated, and proficient Highway and Bridge Maintenance Laborer with good ethics and a great attitude. This person will be responsible for performing highway maintenance labor work; to include traffic control set-ups, bridge maintenance/cleaning, and tree brush removal.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- 18+ years of age.
- Valid drivers license with 5 years clean MVR.
- ATSSA Traffic Control Certified (company provided, if not currently certified).
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime, as needed.
- Ability to drive box truck or equivalent.
- Capable and comfortable working from various heights.
- ABILITY TO TRAVEL AWAY FROM HOME FOR UP TO 1-2 WEEKS AT A TIME IN DE, NJ, NY, PA, AND VA (hotel expenses paid by the Company).
Responsibilities
- Perform diverse types of highway maintenance work, including bridge cleaning, maintenance, tree cutting, and vegetation removal.
- Conducts equipment for pre- and post-trips.
- Set-up and tear down daily temporary traffic control.
- Ensures all work is conducted in compliance with strict safety guidelines.
- Drives company vehicles.
- Uses all equipment and tools safely.
