Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder has a great opportunity for a Hight-tech Water Market Lead to steer growth of the market nationwide and spur the synergic collaboration between business units. POSITION SUMMARY: The preferred candidate will provide leadership for the Hight-tech Water Market Lead. The candidate will be responsible for assessing the Industrial Water Market including opportunities and risks, and then identifying and executing a strategy to support penetration of that market. The candidate will identify target clients, regulatory and economically driven opportunities, and aid delivery managers to build a team capable of winning and profitably executing on projects. The candidate will use knowledge of industry and/or professional guidelines and protocols to accomplish goals and objectives and to solve complex problems.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience including 5 or more years of professional and project management experience in engineering, business and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations required.
  • Superior communication skills and in-depth knowledge of company service and products.

  • Master's/MBA degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Professional registration preferred.
  • Be a recognized leader in their field with consulting experience
  • Have experience being externally focused to grow client relationships and develop business
  • Be able to collaborate with company leadership and Project Managers to resource delivery effectively
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed business plan objectives for Sales, Cost of Sales, and Profitability.
  • Plan annual goals and budgets for Market activities.
  • Analyze Hight-tech Water Market drivers and identify unique new business opportunities for high growth and profitability.
  • Identify related conferences and other overhead expenses needed to accomplish goals.
  • Assist in the evaluation of prospective clients and opportunities, reinforcing sound business decision-making.
  • Engage in proposal teams, proposal reviews and mock interviews for major pursuits to ensure sound client value propositions have been developed.
  • Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers and other project delivery personnel in the Hight-tech Water Market to improve their design and BD skills and activities.
  • Engage in the recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation of employees.
  • Engage in organizations and conferences important to our clients and the High-tech Water Market.
  • Engage in committees and give presentations at events, not just attend.
