About The Position
The Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist position at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a Band 7 role with an additional 20% Recruitment & Retention (R&R) bonus. The Cardiology department is innovative, featuring 13 Consultant Cardiologists and three catheter laboratories where a variety of procedures, including complex device implantation and PCI, are performed. The successful candidate will rotate through CRM and the intervention lab as service demand dictates. The department has expanded its remote follow-up service during the Covid-19 pandemic and provides extensive follow-up for all devices. The Cardiac Services are centralized at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, with a new lab opening in January 2025 to enhance local EP delivery.
