The Higher Education Administrative Assistant I position involves performing routine administrative support functions within a college/university system. The role requires utilizing college enterprise software systems and a variety of office equipment and computer software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets. The assistant will generate statistical statements, reports, legal documents, and letters, and will create and manipulate queries within the college's enterprise software system. Responsibilities also include making classroom reservations, processing student course requests, coordinating office schedules for work study students, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries from faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
