About The Position

Under the general direction of the High Voltage Lab Supervisor, the HV Lab Production/Warehouse Associate will perform production labor work in a high voltage testing lab. Duties will include cleaning, visually inspecting, and testing a variety of protective equipment used in the electric utility and commercial electric industries, along with packing the products to prepare for shipment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Stable Multi-year Work History
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Attention to Detail
• Accurate record keeping and documentation skills
• Acceptable near vision (with or without correction) to be able to read small numbers on products and to be able to identify defects in products
• Dependability
• Good Communication Skills (speaking, reading and writing)
• Ability to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time
• Ability to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Additional Requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening and I-9 documentation as required by law

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate forklift
• Previous production/assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Cleaning protective equipment
• Visual inspection of protective equipment.

• Packing of protective equipment products for shipping.
• Detailed record keeping.
• Warehouse duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or as may be required.
