About The Position
This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise. Provides engineering services for the design and construction of high voltage line project additions to MidAmerican Energy Company's energy delivery system. Provides technical project management for certain phases of a high voltage line project including scheduling, design, cost estimates, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, cost tracking and project cost projections. Assists with engineering studies and investigations and assists with preparing oral and written reports. Provides high voltage engineering assistance to other departments. Provides technical input to assist in project planning. Responsibilities include applying prescribed methods and standard practices in performing specific tasks within high voltage line projects and assisting engineering staff on more complex projects. This is the entry engineer skill level position in high voltage engineering.
Responsibilities
