Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Engineering.
- Automotive engineering
- High voltage battery design
- Creeping distance and clearance
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of housing materials used and how to join them
- Knowledge of corrosion properties and requirements.
- Experience in serviceability
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the detailed design of the high voltage battery enclosure.
- Detail design of parts taking into account process defined, material interfaces, how to join the parts for the purpose and use case.
- Participation in FMEA sessions.
- Expected outputs are 3D designs, 2D drawings for sample production, specification development, creeping distance and clearance analysis, assembly drawings specifying parameters for inline and end of line verification.
