About The Position

Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel! Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional Utility Attendant services.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred
• Must possess a valid Servsafe certification, or have the ability to obtain a valid Servsafe certification
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential job duties according to Omni standards
• Ensure compliance on attendance and punctuality standards
• Follow all uniform standards
• Properly set up and break down of restaurant
• Ensure complete understanding of service standards
• Ensure a complete understanding of the menu
• Deliver food and beverage accurately to tables and in a timely manner
• Comply with food handling standards
• Deliver food to all sections of the restaurant and bar
• Complete all assigned duties before checking out with leadership
• Inspect and stock assigned station in the restaurant to ensure that it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager
