About The Position

The High Temperature Electrolysis Data Analysis Postdoctoral Research Associate at Idaho National Laboratory focuses on developing and evaluating high temperature steam electrolysis stacks and systems. This role involves collaboration with team members in the Hydrogen and Electrochemistry department, utilizing machine learning tools and data analysis techniques to advance research in electrochemistry and related fields.

Requirements

• PhD in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, material science or related disciplines completed within the previous 5 years.
• Demonstrated oral and published written communication skills in English.
• Developing publication record in machine learning, data analysis, or nuclear technology.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in machine learning tools and algorithms applied to high temperature steam electrolysis, electrochemistry, instrumentation and controls, and steam generation.
• Data analysis including storage, processing, interpretation, and publication of research data and results.
• Interface with other researchers to develop new concepts and technologies.
