You take ownership of a packaging line, applying autonomous maintenance (AM) methods to keep equipment reliable and products moving to plan—safely, efficiently, and with pride. A day in the life Conduct start-of-shift checks and follow standard operating procedures with a safety-first mindset and strong Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Independently run and care for at least one process, piece of equipment, or system using AM standards to improve performance. Operate and adjust mixers, ovens, icing mixers, wrappers, cartoners, case-packers, metal detectors, labelers, and related support systems. Use on-screen controls and basic computer tools to monitor performance, respond to alarms, and make minor mechanical and settings adjustments. Measure product attributes, perform visual inspections and basic measurements, and document quality, safety, and production data accurately and on time. Stage and replenish materials, keep your station and surrounding areas audit-ready clean, and uphold Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies. Troubleshoot root causes, collaborate with teammates, and flex across tasks and lines as business needs change in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Operate material handling devices and other manufacturing equipment (such as transports and forklifts) as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in high-speed industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Physical ability to bend, carry, reach, climb, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Computer literacy and comfort using equipment interfaces and support tools.
  • Proficiency in English; clear communication and strong teamwork skills.
  • Hands-on aptitude: minor line adjustments, first-level troubleshooting, and problem-solving to root cause.
  • Experience with mixers, ovens, packaging equipment, metal detectors, and labelers.
  • Reliability in documentation: legible, accurate, and timely paperwork.
  • Adaptability, self-direction, and ownership for your line; able to switch tasks without loss of efficiency.
  • Ability to follow work rules and safety practices; dependable attendance and punctuality; collaborative conflict resolution and sensitivity to others.
