About The Position

The High Speed Inkjet Press Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining high-speed digital presses and inline equipment to ensure quality and service commitments are met. This role involves setup, operation, and maintenance of printing processes, as well as troubleshooting and training team members. The operator will work closely with project managers and team members to ensure that all documents meet established standards and deadlines while adhering to Lean principles for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4 years of printing experience.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with PCs.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain press and inline finishing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain high-speed digital press and inline equipment.
• Perform advance setups, changeovers, and maintenance, both automated and manual.
• Maintain performance of systems and quality of products through process control and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide training to team members as needed.
• Follow established processes for the operation of High Speed Inkjet and complex inline finishing equipment.
• Setup, operate, and maintain variable data printing using High Speed Inkjet.
• Read and understand job tickets and digital run lists, reprinting damaged documents as necessary.
• Develop continuous process improvements that support Lean philosophy.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team managers, vendors, and others to meet standards and deadlines.
