About The Position

Under general direction from the Team Manager and in conjunction with team members, contribute to company quality and service commitments by safely operating and maintaining high speed digital press and inline equipment. Advance setups, changeovers and maintenance may be automated, manual or a combination of both. Maintain performance of systems and quality of products including but not limited to process control, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and training. Follow all established processes associated with the operation of the High Speed Inkjet and all complex in-line finishing equipment. Setup, operate, and maintain single or multiple copies of variable data using High Speed Inkjet and all associated complex in-line equipment following all checks in place. Read and understand job ticket/digital run list and reprint damaged documents on a daily basis. Maintain knowledge of the press, current printing processes, develop continuous process improvements that support the Lean philosophy and work environment. Communicate with Project Managers, Team Managers, Vendors and others to ensure documents meet established standards, curriculum and deadlines.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 4 years of printing experience.
  • Familiarity with product, equipment, finishing, printing process, and ink usage.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Proficient with PCs and possess mechanical aptitude.
