About The Position
The High School World Language Teacher position at ConVal High School is designed for Grades 9-12. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the teacher will facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district-approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress, addressing specific educational needs of individual students, and creating a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment. The teacher will provide feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals. The role involves developing students' knowledge, skills, and abilities in comprehending, speaking, reading, and writing a language other than English, while also fostering an understanding and appreciation of the native culture of the countries where the language is primarily spoken.
