About The Position

Salpointe Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced High School World History/Government Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching high school students and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment. This full-time position requires a strong desire to contribute to the school's mission and support the academic and spiritual growth of students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
• Experience teaching at the High School level.
• Solid employment history with verifiable references.
• AZ State Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan academic lessons in World History and Government.
• Promote learning and ensure the safety of students.
• Work closely with students, families, staff, teachers, and administration to support the mission of the school and ensure student success.
• Participate in a Professional Learning Community.
• Attend faculty and department meetings as well as professional development sessions.
