About The Position

Middletown City Schools is seeking a High School Track and Field Assistant Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is open until filled. The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience and will serve as a role model for students and the community. The coach will be responsible for organizing, supervising, and directing the track and field program, ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations set forth by the league and the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• High moral character and integrity.
• Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations established by the league and the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
• Valid licensure and certification as defined by the Ohio Department of Education.
• Acceptable BCII and FBI background checks.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the track and field team.
