Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Valid Missouri Substitute Certification (required).
Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
Valid Missouri Teacher Certification is strongly preferred or willing to obtain promptly.
A minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Instructional Leadership & Excellence Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that drives measurable student achievement.
Develop high-quality, rigorous lesson plans, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments that align with school goals.
Regularly analyze data to inform instructional decisions, interventions, and supports.
Provide daily meaningful feedback to students tailored to their individual academic needs.
Student & Community Relationships Build deep, authentic relationships with students and families to support students' holistic development and persistence at Kairos.
Maintain proactive, transparent, and consistent communication with families regarding student progress.
Mentor and advise students regularly through advisory sessions and structured 1-1 check-ins.
Actively contribute to cultivating a strong school culture grounded in Kairos core values: Love, Excellence, Agency, and Diversity .
Whole-School Service & Leadership Engage proactively in whole-school service obligations beyond your classroom role, shaping school culture and community engagement.
Example roles include Grade-Level Lead, Community Lead, SEL Lead, Content Lead, and more.
Embrace Kairos' collaborative professional community, supporting peers' instructional growth and participating in professional learning communities (PLCs) and coaching check-ins.
