Cross Country Education is seeking a skilled Special Education Teacher to join a prominent secondary program with a specialized focus on Practical Skills instruction for the remainder of the '25-'26 school year! Position Overview: Create and implement specialized curricula tailored to students with intellectual disabilities. Manage daily classroom operations and provide direction to a dedicated team of paraprofessional staff. Oversee the full Individualized Education Program process, including student data collection and progress monitoring via IEP Direct.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 Endorsement Required)
- Proven ability to manage self-contained environments at the secondary level.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with IEP data collection and IEP Direct (Highly Preferred)
