Our school is focused on providing students with the skills, training, and industry certifications necessary to leave high school prepared to enter the workforce and/or post-secondary education. At Sequoyah, students from across Hamilton County can choose to attend and participate in a specific program of study.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in 6-12 Social Studies OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
- Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection
