Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Valid teaching certification for high school education.
• Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and classroom dynamics.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for educational purposes, including virtual learning platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community to support student success.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through standardized testing and other assessment tools.
• Provide academic advising and support to students, helping them set educational goals and develop study strategies.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the planning of interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including research on effective teaching practices and participation in higher education teaching workshops.
• Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing additional resources as necessary.
• Conduct proofreading of student work to enhance writing skills and ensure academic integrity.
• Utilize research laboratory resources when applicable, integrating hands-on learning experiences into the curriculum.
• Foster a love for mathematics by teaching geometry concepts in an engaging manner.
