About The Position
The position is for a High School Principal at McDonald Local Schools for the 2025 - 2026 academic year. The role requires a valid State of Ohio School Principal License and successful completion of BCI & FBI background checks and drug tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong curriculum background and experience in administrative responsibilities, particularly as a principal. Responsibilities include aligning curriculum, instruction, and assessment, planning and delivering professional development for teachers, and having training in formative and summative assessments. The candidate should also have knowledge of state site linkages and the ability to read and analyze district, school, and classroom data. OTES 2.0 Certification and understanding of HQSD are preferred, along with experience in conducting classroom walk-throughs and evidence of successful teaching experience.
