About The Position

The Bradley School is a licensed private academy educating students who present with special education needs. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. The Bradley School offers each student a different kind of academic experience and a renewed chance at success.

We are looking for a High School Math Teacher who is motivated, compassionate and has a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for someone with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life.

Requirements

• Initiative and creativity
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong classroom management
• Willingness to collaborate with special education teachers
• Strong knowledge of mathematics content
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics required, Master’s degree preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education certification in Mathematics (7–12 preferred) required
• 6–12 months of experience working with youth in an educational setting
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• Special Education certification preferred
• Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide structured learning experiences for children with behavioral, emotional, and mental health disabilities
• Support students’ intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth
• Engage students in learning with well-paced instruction
• Design and implement lessons aligned with instructional goals and adapted to individual student needs
