Requirements

Committed Christian who is a faithful member of a local Christian church. Successful applicants must affirm the Statement of Faith and Biblical Principles, which can be found https://www.westburychristian.org/employment
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching certificate.
Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
Creative, motivated, and dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.

Nice To Haves

High school math teaching experience preferred (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-calculus and/or Calculus); new graduates with strong enthusiasm for math education are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, Christian values, and state standards.
Integrate faith and learning in meaningful and relevant ways.
Create a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident expressing questions.
Foster problem-solving skills and logical reasoning in students.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve performance and critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive math program that meets diverse student needs.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
