High School Part-Time Intervention Specialist - Certified Teacher (Reading and Math) Houston, TX | Part-Time | Weekdays | School Hours | $23.50-$25/hour Make a daily impact with small group teaching in reading and math. Catapult Learning is hiring a Part-Time Intervention Specialist to deliver in-person reading and math intervention to 9-12 students in Houston-area private schools. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Active teaching certification (required)
- Experience teaching both reading and math in a K-12 setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to helping all students grow and succeed
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person reading and math instruction to small groups of 9-12 students
- Use Catapult Learning's evidence-based curriculum and lesson plans
- Customize instruction to meet student needs and skill levels
- Create a positive, engaging learning environment
- Track academic progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with school staff to support student success
