Your Impact As a High School Intern at Axon, you will contribute to bold mission through meaningful work in STEM-focused internships tracks designed to give you real-world experience in technology, engineering, innovation, and problem solving. This 8-week, paid internship provides an opportunity to explore STEM careers by working on cutting-edge projects that impact public safety. Working alongside a cohort of fellow interns and a variety of Axon stakeholders, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment, engaging in mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities with Axon’s industry professionals. Program Time Commitment: This internship will run from June 29, 2026 - August 14, 2026 This internship offers hands-on exposure to applied AI and computer vision in a real-world engineering environment. Over the course of eight weeks, interns will work with image and sensor data, help improve data annotation workflows, and learn how labeled data supports the development of machine learning systems. The experience includes exploring datasets, building simple automation tools, evaluating output quality using technical metrics, and presenting findings to a research and engineering audience. This role is best suited for curious, detail-oriented students who are excited by AI, enjoy problem-solving, and want early exposure to technical workflows used in robotics and perception systems.
