Requirements

• Part of a pre-approved Sanford clinical internship program as a high school student.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry helpful.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists in a clinical setting, based on assigned department/team with delegated responsibilities.
• Complies with all patient safety related duties assigned.
• May be asked to provide assistance in providing customer service to meet basic patient needs and related activities.
• Assists staff with transporting patients, providing supplies and equipment, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness in work environment.
• Assists in the completion of projects and administrative duties delegated.
• Attends training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.
