About The Position

Mt. Juliet Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach for our High School Girls’ Softball program. The ideal candidate will provide strong Christian leadership, demonstrate high standards of character and sportsmanship, and possess a deep understanding of softball fundamentals. The coach will lead the development of student-athletes in alignment with the school’s mission and core values.

Requirements

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian education
• Previous coaching experience at the high school level preferred
• Strong knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and strategies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet school employment standards
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• Teaching or mentoring experience with high school-aged children
• Degree or coursework in physical education, coaching, or related field
• Experience working in a Christian educational environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the high school softball program
• Foster spiritual, personal, and athletic growth of student-athletes
• Create and implement practice plans and game strategies
• Lead off-season conditioning and training programs
• Promote Christian character and sportsmanship on and off the field
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director on scheduling, transportation, and equipment needs
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration
• Ensure compliance with school policies and TSSAA regulations
