About The Position

Teach multiple sections of 9th grade English and one or more electives (Creative Writing, Film & Literature, etc.) to classes of no more than 20 9-12 grade students. Design and implement engaging, differentiated, interactive instruction that supports all students in developing their reading, writing, language, speaking and listening, and critical thinking skills and prepares them not only for college and careers but also for becoming active, informed members of their community. Create positive, student-centered learning environment that facilitates the completion of goals and objectives of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

Requirements

NJ Teacher of English CE or Standard certification.

Candidates with OUT-OF-STATE licenses: You MUST have ALREADY applied to the NJDOE for reciprocity and be able to submit a screenshot of your application status to be considered for this position.
