Pinon Unified School District is seeking a High School English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality education to high school students and ensuring their academic success. Requirements

Hold a valid Arizona Department of Education State Teaching Certification in secondary education
Bachelor's Degree in English, Education or a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of Arizona State Standards and proficiency in standards-based instruction.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to use technology to enhance instruction and student learning.
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver effective and engaging English lessons to high school students.
Assess and evaluate student understanding and progress using a variety of methods.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
Attend parent-teacher conferences and collaborate with parents and guardians to encourage student success.
Participate in school-wide events and promote a positive school community.
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students.
Fulfill any additional duties or responsibilities as directed by the school principal.
