Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the curriculum standards and objectives of the assigned economics courses. The teacher will establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives. It is essential to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with special needs and English language learners, through various teaching methods. Assessment of student learning will be conducted through various forms of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth. The teacher will implement effective classroom management strategies, maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment conducive to student success. Collaboration with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units, share best practices, and align teaching strategies across grade levels and subject areas is also a key responsibility. Regular communication with students, parents, and guardians regarding student progress, academic expectations, and opportunities for enrichment or intervention is expected. The teacher should stay updated on developments in the field of economics education, including new teaching methods, educational technologies, and relevant research. Participation in professional development opportunities, teacher meetings, and school activities is encouraged, along with fulfilling other duties and responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
