About The Position

The High School Culinary and Pastry Intern position at Hershey Entertainment and Resorts offers students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic culinary environment. This part-time internship is designed for high school students enrolled in culinary or pastry programs, allowing them to rotate through various food and beverage outlets while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment. The role provides a minimum of 100 hours of work, with the potential for extension based on performance and operational needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Must be a junior or senior enrolled in culinary or pastry focused program or a high school co-op program.
• Basic knife skills and knife safety.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company procedures, rules, and regulations regarding food safety.
• Maintain a clean work environment and demonstrate ability to prepare hot and cold foods.
• Rotate through various food and beverage outlets, including Catering, Premium Services, Overlook Food Court, Spring Creek Smokehouse, Cookies & Donuts, Milton's Ice Cream Parlor and other key areas across the complex.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
