Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Science field preferred) with at least 36 semester hours in science courses
Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and related mathematics
Willingness to attend AP Chemistry training
Intermediate knowledge of chemistry and related mathematics
Safety issues related to science labs and investigations
Methods of research in the sciences, including laboratory and research techniques and the use of associated technology
History and philosophy of science
