About The Position

The Richmond R-XVI School District is accepting applications for high school Business Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate should have proper certification, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Grade Level Expectations/Course Level Expectations/Missouri Learning Standards. Applicants must demonstrate a student-centered philosophy and be proficient in understanding quality instructional practices to increase student achievement. This must include the desire and dedication towards Missouri Learning Standards implementation and integration. A working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities is preferred. The ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues is essential. The Richmond R-XVI School District is an accredited 3A school district. Richmond is located approximately 45 miles northeast of Downtown Kansas City, MO with just under 6,000 residents and a PreK-12 population of approximately 1500.
