About The Position

This is a .2 FTE non-continuing position for a Band Teacher at Mountlake High School. This is a leave replacement position beginning as soon as hired through the end of the current 2025-26 school year ONLY. Preference will be given to candidates that currently have an ELL, ESOL, or Bilingual endorsement. SIOP training and GLAD training offered by the Multilingual Education Department will be required for all new employees unless they can show evidence of having completed SIOP and GLAD training previously. Training will need to be completed within the first year of employment.

• Washington State Teaching Certificate with an Instrumental Music endorsement, or the ability to obtain one prior to the position start date.
