Requirements

  • Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
  • Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Multilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Prior direct customer-service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the record keeping of daily attendance data and collate attendance reports while performing analysis and inferring trends on related matters
  • Counsel students and advise parents regarding absenteeism and tardiness to ensure consistent, reliable school attendance; issues notices as required by law
  • Maintain daily contact with all academic programs to monitor absences and tardiness; confers with parents and makes home calls when necessary
  • Meet with students daily to build relationships with the students and solve attendance issues
  • Serve as an instructional assistant with Special Education or Multiple Language Learning students. Push-in to classrooms to provide support to help them master academic content
