Responsible for direct patient contact primarily for the evaluation and treatment of medical and musculoskeletal pathology consistent with the scope and practice of athletic training clinical competencies as defined by the BOC and state practice acts. Job settings can include health care clinics, secondary schools, youth sports clubs, collegiate athletics, and/or professional clubs. This role will work with our Durango High School.

Requirements

  • 2 Years of athletic training experience.
  • Must be willing and able to travel and work irregular hours
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population, including but not limited to, athletes, coaches, administrative staff, physicians, volunteers, and other medical personnel.
  • Bachelor's CAATE-accredited professional Athletic Training program required.
  • Bachelor's in Athletic traning or related field required.
  • Athletic Trainer Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Registration/Licensure to be obtained prior to the start of athletic coverage
  • BLS
  • Driver's License
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

  • Relevant job setting experience preferred.
