About The Position

Model WMHS' Mission Statement and Core Values while engaging our students and staff. Engage and support students in our program with academic, social skills, and other fun/social-based activities. Assist adult staff with student engagement and structured/free play. Assist adult staff prior to the start of Academic and/or Enrichment programs. Assist adult staff with transitioning students to different activities, schedules, as well as arrival and dismissal. If you are involved in an after-school activity, please list that in your cover letter.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in Pre-K, elementary, and/or middle school students in an academic and/or before or after-school setting, preferred.
• Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
• Desire to actively engage students in meaningful activities.
• Desire to be a role model for our younger students.
• Ability to apply and model Wakefield Memorial High School's mission statement and core values for our students and staff.
