About The Position

In-person Algebra tutor will support students in grades 9–12 through targeted math instruction. The tutor will work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role focuses on helping students strengthen their understanding of Algebra concepts through structured, face-to-face support.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in Biology
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies
• Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need
