About The Position

ISD #2687 has the following position available: 1.0 FTE High School Agriculture Education/ CTE Teacher Position available at ISD #2687 for the 2026-27 school year. Opportunity for summer employment and FFA advising. Agriculture, Energy,& Natural Resources teacher for the upcoming school year. The Agriculture, Energy, & Natural Resources department has experienced exponential growth and based on community interest and support, is expected to grow. Courses taught may include introduction to agriculture, ag economics, animal science, plant science, greenhouse operations, food science, ag construction, and ag welding. The program has a certified food science lab, a woods and welding shop, and operates a school greenhouse. Agriculture, Energy, & Natural Resources program implements each of the three-components of the Agriculture, Energy, & Natural Resources model including work-based learning through SAE projects and leadership development through FFA. The teacher will advise the school's successful FFA chapter. An extended contract is available and an FFA advisor stipend is included with this position. This position includes middle school exploratory ANFR courses. Requirements

  • 5-12 Agriculture Minnesota teaching licensure required
  • Candidates must have a current agriculture teaching license , or a relevant industry certification/license, degree, or five years of industry experience related to agriculture, food, or natural resources.

Nice To Haves

  • Career and Technical Education Certification preferred.
  • Work-Based Learning (WBL) endorsement is strongly preferred but not required.
