About The Position

Requirements

• Basic proficiency in math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in the designated language of the facility.
• Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -20°F (-25°C) or in dry storage up to 100°F (37°C).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (18 kgs.), with the potential for heavier lifting depending on the facility.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklifts to handle and transport products, equipment, and materials.
• Store palletized items in elevated racks using forklift forks.
• Retrieve palletized items from elevated racks for outbound shipments.
• Accurately track materials, weights, counts, and product conditions using a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts and complete maintenance logs.
• Monitor and maintain forklift battery levels, ensuring proper charging and cleanliness.
• Operate other machinery and material handling equipment as required.
