The High Lift Operator is responsible for operating high lift equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a warehouse or manufacturing facility. This role ensures the safe and efficient handling of materials, contributing to streamlined operations and effective inventory management. Complete a daily inspection report of the high lifter at the start of each shift. Report any deficiencies that would not allow safe use of the equipment immediately to the dock supervisor. High lifter drivers will assist forklift drivers in weekly cycle counts of the product in the cooler. High lift drivers will help forklift drivers in the daily rotation of the product in the cooler. Rack and locate palletized products coming from production with the use of a scan gun. Pull pallets of product from the racks for order pickers and relocate partial pallets back in the racks. Communicate any racking damage, pallet problems, or leaking box issues to their immediate supervisor. Communicate any missing product and or damaged product to their immediate supervisor.
