Join our High Intensity Outside School Hours Team working in a specialist school setting and become an integral part of our mission to support school-aged children and young people (aged 5-18) with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live. In this role, you will work collaboratively with fellow educators/OSHC team, children and parents to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support children’s learning, engagement and wellbeing. We have casual and/or part time positions available working Monday to Friday After School Care: 3.00pm - 6:00pm Vacation Care: 9.00am-6:00pm 3 reasons to join our OSHC team! Requirements

  • experience in the OSHC/early education or disability services sector
  • willingness to be committed to empowering children/young people to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work
  • effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients
  • ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • willingness to support children/young people with personal care activities
  • Willingness to obtain a First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates if you don’t already have one.
  • Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting Completed or willingness to complete
  • IncludeED@OSHC learning frameworks/modules
  • Successful appointment with Yooralla is subject to mandatory safeguarding checks, including a Working with Children's Check and evidence of Australian work rights, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Qualifications or be actively working towards a certification in alignment with the Victorian ACECQA National Quality Framework
