High Frequency Communications Analyst The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. What You'll Work On: Support and assist U.S. Air Force (USAF) clients on policy, strategy, and governance for high-frequency (HF) communications, including High-Frequency Global Communications Systems (HFGCS) and waveforms. Coordinate with groups of DoD stakeholders across the world to maintain an awareness of warfighter communications needs and efforts to field technical solutions. Assess and advise on modernization requirements, issues, and solutions. Support USAF clients in governance forums on topics including tactical, strategic, and NC3 communications, cryptography, and waveform technology. Advise clients on approaches to advocate for HF communication initiatives in USAF and DoD budget processes. Develop and implement strategies for aligning disparate platforms, missions, and communications networks and architectures across the USAF enterprise. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with government, military, or IT divisions
  • Experience with HF communications infrastructures
  • Knowledge of HF radio technology, including waveforms, radios, antennas, aircraft, gateways, or ground and space touch points
  • Knowledge of DoD processes, requirements, acquisition, and resourcing
  • Knowledge of tactical objectives and assess solutions and architectures
  • Ability to coordinate with clients or leadership for time-sensitive tasks, including development of papers and briefings tailored to the appropriate audience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with USAF processes for requirements, acquisition, and resourcing
  • Knowledge of ground and aircraft HF radio technology specific to the USAF
  • Knowledge of DoD and USAF NC3 governance
  • Master’s degree
