About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking a High End Retail Security Officer to join our team in the Ross Park area. With over 40 years in the security industry, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing the highest level of service through our dedicated personnel. This position offers both part-time and full-time hours across 1st and 2nd shifts, 7 days a week, with a competitive pay rate of $25.00 per hour. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for executing security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and ensuring the safety and security of the assigned areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current or prior military experience or college education in the security field desirable.
  • 3-5 years of professional-level work experience preferred, especially in security, law enforcement, or customer service.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug/alcohol test as required.
  • Current state driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Energetic and focused personality with strong initiative and time management skills.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.
  • Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.

Responsibilities

  • Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and company policies.
  • Conduct walking, vehicular, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols of assigned areas.
  • Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, or emergency situations.
  • Perform site-specific duties including customer service, loss prevention, and lobby/visitor reception.
  • Write detailed incident reports during shifts, noting unusual activities and resolutions.
  • Know and implement site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain acceptable attendance and grooming standards.
  • Participate in all required orientation and training programs.
  • Respond to incidents during shifts in accordance with Post Orders and the Company's Use of Force Policy.
  • Conduct security and customer service functions as directed by supervisors.
