Requirements
- 5+ years of professional carpentry experience , including crew leadership
- Advanced skills in both rough and finish carpentry
- Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and measurements
- Professionalism and strong communication skills with clients, peers, and supervisors
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Physical ability to perform hands-on work in all job site conditions
- A full set of professional-grade tools, including saws, drills, routers, levels, layout tools, and extension cords
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, apprentices, laborers, and subcontractors
- Perform expert-level rough and finish carpentry -from framing and roof cut-ins to custom trim and detailing
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and work orders with accuracy and confidence
- Manage materials, deliveries, subcontractor coordination, and schedules on active job sites
- Uphold and enforce job site safety standards , organization, and cleanliness
- Communicate with homeowners and project managers to keep everyone informed
- Document progress through daily logs, jobsite notes , and material tracking
- Serve as a trainer and mentor-growing the team's skills and accountability over time
