Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional carpentry experience , including crew leadership
  • Advanced skills in both rough and finish carpentry
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and measurements
  • Professionalism and strong communication skills with clients, peers, and supervisors
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Physical ability to perform hands-on work in all job site conditions
  • A full set of professional-grade tools, including saws, drills, routers, levels, layout tools, and extension cords

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, apprentices, laborers, and subcontractors
  • Perform expert-level rough and finish carpentry -from framing and roof cut-ins to custom trim and detailing
  • Interpret blueprints, plans, and work orders with accuracy and confidence
  • Manage materials, deliveries, subcontractor coordination, and schedules on active job sites
  • Uphold and enforce job site safety standards , organization, and cleanliness
  • Communicate with homeowners and project managers to keep everyone informed
  • Document progress through daily logs, jobsite notes , and material tracking
  • Serve as a trainer and mentor-growing the team's skills and accountability over time
